Rad Collab: Death Valley National Park trip using Wolfman Threadworks

“Doing adventure things with the best adventure gear and the best adventure buds.”—@the_gear_dude Spencer Hill

“Have I mentioned how good this @wolfmanluggage setup is?  It’s perfect for multiple days camping off the bike across rugged terrain.  I am very happy with how it performed and how good it looked while doing it.”

Spencer and his friends “crushed miles, lived like well-equipped hobos and did a lot of laughing” while taking a rad Death Valley National Park trip.

Spencer's Wolfman Threadworks setup:  E-Base, Enduro Tank Bag, 22 Duffel and two 15 Rolies in Deep Green.  Spencer's friend is using some older WP saddlebags a duffel.

Death Valley is the largest national park in the contiguous United States, as well as the hottest, driest and lowest elevation (282 feet below sea level) of all of the national parks.  Death Valley National Park straddles eastern California and Nevada.  It’s known for Titus Canyon, with a ghost town and colorful rocks and Badwater Basin’s salt flats, North America’s lowest point.  The top five ADV motorcycle rides are Badwater Basin to Furnace Creek (1 of 3 locations for fuel), Titus Canyon (test your mettle), Racetrack Playa (Sailing stones with no gravitational cause, mysterious moving rocks), Saline Valley (tough 95 miles of dirt with old mines and hot springs) and Ubehebe Crater (600-ft deep volcanic crater in the north of the park).  Best time to travel here is Nov—April.  Bring PLENTY of water, Reliable GPS/paper back-up maps, Wear ventilated gear, Plan your route, Best to travel with friends like Spencer, Fuel management and Stay connected since there is low and slow to NO cell service in most parts of the Park.  Avoid summer heat index for safety.  More info:  www.nps.gov/deva

Spencer took his KTM 690 with a LC4 platform to sleep in the dirt and cruise around on some of the best trails in Death Valley.  Thanks for trusting Wolfman Threadworks on your desert trip!
